So, as I learn more and more about nutrition, I am fascinated about the success stories of those who have chosen to go gluten-free or at least wheat-free.
While I have some sensitivities to yeast, I do not know if I am particularly sensitive to wheat. I grind our wheat and make bread for my family, but my hubby is the one who mostly eats it. It's a yummy recipe to be sure, but the more I eat bread, the more I want it. Sigh. So I try not to eat it much, unless we're having pizza or certain dishes. I don't think our wheat of today (even the organic that I buy) is the same wheat of Bible times. I've been reading more and more about how some people have great success in mostly eliminating wheat from their diet, if not entirely. I don't know what to think yet. I'm still researching it and I'm on a quest to find out what works best for me.
How about you? Whether you're gluten-free, wheat-free, or yeast-free -- I'd love to have you share your wisdom.
What's with wheat?
Blessings,
Susan
P.S. I have to be away from my computer for most of the day. But please....I really want to know what you think. Please comment and I'll get back to you.

Having farmers in my family, I know that the wheat we eat today has been genetically modified, as have many of the foods we eat. Monsanto controls what corn is raised and what fertilizers are to be used. If a farmer doesn't follow the guidelines, they can be fined. So who know what we are eating today in wheat and other food items is different that in years past.
Hi, Linda! Thanks for stopping by. It's scary, isn't it? I know all the things that have been introduced in the ag industry supposedly started out to help the farmer and the food and the amount they produced. But I think it's ended up being about lining the pockets of a few big companies and not helping the farmers; and now we have less nutritional food than we had in the past. It's sad!
